About Us
Our Story
Felty’s Feline Friends (FFF) was founded as Erin and Alex continued to help kitties in need. We realized a shared dream of helping all the kitties and decided to make our hobby a true kitty rescue.
FFF works primarily with kittens and young cats, but we also accept surrenders due to medical needs or homelessness. We also provide TNR support.
FFF specializes in newborns and injured or sick kitten care. We are one of the few local rescues that are able to take on neonates.
Having a veterinarian directly involved with all of our kitties guarantees that they receive the best medical care.
Meet Our Team
Erin Felty, DVM

Cats were always a part of Erin’s life. She felt a certain closeness and kinship to them. Erin’s primary motivation to become a veterinarian was to help as many kitties as possible.
As Erin continued practicing medicine, she began to foster kittens in need. Through doctoring and fostering, she has developed a profound knowledge and understanding of cat’s behaviors and unique medical needs.

Like Erin, Alex grew up with kitties in her life. At 18, she started out as a veterinary assistant in Florida. Life happened and Alex ended up moving into the human pharmacy world for 10 years. Upon moving to Chattanooga, she was able to return the vet med industry where she met Dr. Felty!
Alex and Erin realized they shared a true love and understanding of cats and became good friends!
